This Cancellation and Refund Policy explains how users can cancel their subscriptions and the circumstances under which refunds may be issued. Please read it carefully before subscribing or making a payment.

1. Overview

ElevateCV operates on a subscription-based model. By subscribing to our Premium plan or any paid feature, you agree to the terms described in this policy.

We believe in fairness and transparency while balancing operational sustainability and compliance with applicable laws.

2. Free Trial and Evaluation

If a free trial or limited free plan is offered, you're encouraged to explore the platform's features before upgrading to a paid plan.

Once the trial ends, your subscription will automatically renew at the selected rate unless you cancel before the renewal date.

3. Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your ElevateCV dashboard or by contacting billing@elevatecv.online.

Upon cancellation:

  • Your Premium features remain active until the end of the current billing period.
  • After the billing cycle ends, your account reverts to the Free plan.
  • You will retain access to your data unless you choose to delete your account.
  • To avoid renewal charges, please cancel at least 24 hours before the next billing date.

4. Refund Eligibility

Due to the nature of digital services, all purchases and subscriptions are generally non-refundable once the billing period has started.

However, partial or full refunds may be issued at our discretion in the following cases:

  • You were charged in error or experienced a billing malfunction.
  • You were unable to access paid features due to a verified technical issue caused by ElevateCV.
  • You canceled within 24 hours of renewal without using any premium features.

To request a refund, email billing@elevatecv.online with your account details and a brief description of the issue.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Change of mind after purchase or renewal.
  • Failure to cancel before renewal.
  • Dissatisfaction based on individual expectations of AI-generated content.
  • Violations of our Terms & Conditions.
  • Payments made via third-party platforms or marketplaces (subject to their own refund policies).

6. Subscription Renewal and Billing

All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly).

By subscribing, you authorize ElevateCV to charge the saved payment method for recurring payments.

You can manage or disable auto-renewal anytime in your account settings.

7. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved:

  • It will be processed to your original payment method.
  • Processing may take 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
  • You'll receive confirmation once the refund has been initiated.

8. Third-Party and Add-On Services

Fees paid for third-party integrations, premium add-ons, or external services are non-refundable, as they involve separate providers and costs outside our control.

9. Account Deletion

If you permanently delete your account:

  • All your personal data and uploaded content will be permanently removed.
  • This action is irreversible, and no refunds will be issued after deletion.
  • Please ensure you cancel any active subscriptions and download important data before deleting your account.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update or revise this Cancellation and Refund Policy periodically to reflect business, technical, or legal changes.
